Ready to pioneering career again?
Idle in one year. It was just broken, I decided to move to Bali. When vacuum is, I find inspiration to decrease stress. Jakarta’s traffic jams and floods, so hard to find inspiration.
What is your feeling about breaking up with your boyfriend?
Broke with the former, I think I was enough. From there I felt lonely But it made me finally converts, becoming to Islam. accidently found it,When i was looking for precisely the power and i get the power. So it was not for running away from the entertainment world.
Since when you turning into Islam?
Two days before Lebaran. Listen tahlilan, wow I did not feel empty anymore. I felt someone next to me and give me strength. No one forced me for embracing religion. Initially no religion, in the Netherlands are used as that. Families were asked in the Dutch and after I explain, they finally supports me.
How to learn it?
First time to learn, I read shahadat at home. I learned Islam by reading books. But if i didnt understnad, i’ll search from the internet. Most difficult is to learn Thasahud. for the Prayer, I learned to do 5 days. So busy as any, I’ll try to pray. All the people support, no one says hi Rebecca what’s do you do?
It means making sure you stay in Jakarta again?
Yes. But all because I do find peace after embracing Islam.
